Howard Shore has been announced as the Composer of the Eclipse score.Shore, among many other projects, was responsible for the score in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

I checked Howard Shore's work on IMDB and boy does he ever have a packed resume, including Oscar-winning work! Yay! I loved the music from LOTR; it disappeared into the film like good music should, underscoring the action rather than becoming obvious.
