ECLIPSE Score is Done

ECLIPSE Director David Slade tweeted tonight telling us all that the ECLIPSE Score is complete!!!

Final ECLIPSE Trailer Coming on Friday!

The final ECLIPSE trailer will be revealed on Friday on OPRAH!  Here in our area Oprah can be seen on  NBC at 4 pm.

ECLIPSE Re-Shoots

With only a little over 2 months until the release of ECLIPSE new reports have surfaced that some key scenes need to be re-shot in Vancouver.  LaineyGossip has the Exclusive Report.  I know not everyone likes her (she's not a Twi-Fan, I happen to like her anyway LOL) but she is in Vancouver, seems to have some good contacts and is usually VERY accurate!

Cast Party

Vancity Allie is reporting that the cast attended a New Moon / Eclipse Party. Lots of the main cast members were there as well as Stephenie Meyer and David Slade (Eclipse Director). She also reports seeing many actors with what appeared to be thick scripts and speculates it may be the Eclipse script.

OMG Lots of Good New Moon Stuff

Amanda Bell (she is like my new favorite person LOL) is reporting a bunch of good New Moon stuff .....

.......according to screenplay writer Melissa Rosenberg, the set of The Twilight Saga: New Moon is "a ridiculously happy place to be." Says she, "Chris Weitz is the zen ringmaster doing a fantastic job. The Volturi look amaaaazing. Michael Sheen embodies Aro so completely, elevating the role to a whole new level. Dakota as Jane knocks me out."

OMG I can NOT wait to see the Volturi!!!! Wait there's more..

.....Michael Sheen, who was cast as Aro in the series and who is known for his fan accomodation via Twitter, had a lot to say as well, affirming Rosenberg's note. Telling us that he is wrapping up the scenes with Edward and Bella ... and that he had the chance to meet New Moon author Stephenie Meyer, Sheen then went on to say that he "keep[s] forgetting how freaky [he] look[s] with [his] red eyes." Continues Sheen, "[I] think Dakota may look the most unsettling though. So angelic yet so weird . . . like an evil red riding hood......

Sounds like we are really going to get all we hoped for out of the Volturi - Dakota sounds like a perfect Jane!

Also David Slade is visiting Vancouver. I wonder if he is observing and getting familiar with things OR if he is beginning prep work on Eclipse??

David Slade Addresses Concerns

Twilight Lexicon has received an official statement from David Slade, Director of Eclipse, regarding comments he made about Twilight. You can read the whole story here.

......When I made these comments, I had neither seen the film nor read the books. I was promoting a comedy short film that I had made for Xbox and every pop culture subject was seen as a possible comedy target. I was being silly and none of the statements were from the heart.

Of course, I have since seen the movie and read the books and was quickly consumed with the rich storytelling and the beautifully honest characters that Stephenie Meyer created.
I would like to reassure everyone involved that I am invested in making the best film that I am humanly capable of, and that I am acutely aware of the power of the original books we serve.

Please be rest assured this statement is absolutely from the heart......
