A Necklace? - New Moon Movie Spoilers, Don't Look If You Don't Want to Know

Metro News (Canada) went behind the scenes for the Vancouver filming of New Moon and is releasing a series of reports on their visit. The first report can be found here, but here's a little nougat hidden away in the report...

........Ready? Action! Jacob fastens a necklace on Bella. “It catches bad dreams,” he tells her.
But Bella only dreams of Edward, played by Robert Pattinson. The British actor is leaning
nearby on a car, a figment of Bella’s imagination. She is continually haunted by
memories of this impossible love.........

Interesting. Not that it's bad, but we all know there was no necklace from Jacob in the book. What do you think? Keep in mind that not all scenes actually make it to the movie so this may or may not make the final cut.

One more. Here's a little snippet from the filming of the morning of Bella's Birthday when she arrives at school.

.........As the extras disperse and pretend to be heading toward the makeshift school building,
Kristen Stewart, reprising her role as Bella, is greeted by her four best friends singing her
happy birthday as she gets out of her truck.......

Who do you think the '4 best friends' are? Edward & Alice are assumed. Possibly Angela and maybe Jessica. Shouldn't be Jacob at this point of the movie. What do you think?

Forbes has released a list of the top 100 World's Most Powerful Celebrities.

The low-profile author sold 29 million books last year, releasing two new novels (Breaking Dawn and The Host) and selling hoards of paperbacks of what have become instant classics (Twilight, Eclipse and New Moon). Last November, gothy fans camped out to catch the first film based on the series; Twilight grossed $70 million opening weekend. A partial rough draft of the fifth Twilight book leaked online last August; Meyer published the full draft on her Web site and announced the book wouldn't be published.

According to Stephenie Meyer The Best Is Yet To Come!!

Stephenie posted a note on her website today regarding the MTV Movie awards and gave us a little teaser about New Moon. She is just as anxious as we are!

Thank you, everybody who voted at the MTV Movie Awards! It was awesome to see Twilight get so much love. Congratulations to Catherine and Rob and Kristen and all of the cast and everyone at Summit and everybody on the crew! You all did an amazing job and you deserve your popcorn!

MTV Movie Awards

Hope you were able to watch the MTV Movie Awards. The show was a bit weird, but Twilight kicked some major butt!!

There's soooo much to see....videos, pictures, interviews. I was ready to post a lot of videos from YouTube but it seems that they are being slowly taken down due to copyright issues. AND the videos over at MTV.com make you watch a lot of really annoying commercials and seem to have some technical difficulties. For now I will list the awards that Twilight won and see what I can do about the rest. UPDATE: Here's a link to a playlist of some of the videos on YouTube

Best Fight went to Rob and Cam for the Ballet Studio Fight. Rob was gracious in thanking his stunt double who he claims really did all the work. (In an interview (after he received the award) he says it's the first fight he's ever won!)

Rob won Breakout Male Performance. LOL he had a 'little list' and a little something coming out of his pants :-) You'll have to see the video to understand that.

Rob and Kristen won Best Kiss. Their 'acceptance' of the award was GREAT!!! For this I have included the video!

MTV Shows

Before the real New Moon trailer, they revealed a little spoof... Then the big reveal came!!! It was presented by Rob, Kristen & Taylor. Rob dedicated it to all the fans! (See post below this for a High Quality video of the trailer, also available in HD by clicking on the HD button)

Kristen won Best Female Performance and had a slightly embarrassing moment during her acceptance when she dropped the award.

ET reveals 15 seconds of the first New Moon Trailer to be shown on the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night!!

Hmmmm is he wearing the same shirt he had on in the pics from the 'Reunion in Italy' scenes they were filming this week....coincidence?? I wonder if he will leave right after the party? They wouldn't leave out the break-up in the woods, right? (eta: I am pretty sure that when she said that to him in the book it was in her room the night of the party as she was getting ready to go to sleep.)

Voting has officially closed in most categories for the MTV Movie Awards which will be broadcast this Sunday night!! HOWEVER you can still vote for Best Movie. Twilight is up against Dark Knight, High School Musical 3, Iron Man & Slumdog Millionaire.

Edward Cullen ... A Catholic Bishop???

New bishop for RC Diocese of Allentown

Monsignor John O. Barres, 48, will succeed Bishop Edward Cullen in the Diocese of Allentown. The bishop-elect will be ordained and installed July 30.

=Maybe some of you already knew that there was a Bishop by the name of Edward Cullen, but when I heard this on the news I found it very amusing!!
