There have been a lot of news reports, articles, interviews, etc with the artists on the New Moon Soundtrack; too much for me to report it all here. However, I am going to post this for two reasons 1) It discusses how the music works into the movie, which is very interesting to me and 2) Becky & I saw Longwave perform as the opening act for Blue October back in May (the lead singer from Longwave is Hurricane Bells). Funny story...After the concert, the lead singer, Steve Schiltz spend a lot of time outside in the area where the fans were waiting for Justin & the boys from Blue October to come out. He was loading their equipment and stuff into a trailer parked in front of the theatre....right where Blue October's bus was going to park. Needless to say, Becky & I were not his biggest fans as it approached 12:30 am and he was still lingering around blocking the parking spot LOL. Now here he is on the New Moon soundtrack!! It's a small world. Just in case anyone is wondering, he did eventually leave and the Blue October Bus parked there, and YES we did get to meet and get autographs from Blue October.
