New Moon DVD Release Party

Plans are underway for March 20th (in the evening) to celebrate the New Moon DVD Release with a little party, and of course to watch the movie.

NEPA TwilightMoms & New Moon

A group of the NEPA TwilightMoms will be hitting Rodano's around 8 pm on Thursday night before heading to the midnight release of New Moon at RC Theatres in Wilkes-Barre. Stop by if you want to join us for snacks and drinks or just say Hi!!

Then on Sunday...

Some of us are going to see New Moon at Cinemark in the afternoon and heading out eat after the movie for some discussion time. I can't imagine that we'll have much to talk about....Yeah right!! I am sure we will all have lots to say about the movie! Looking forward to seeing/chatting with everyone again!

NEPA TwilightMoms on the Radio??

I just got a phone call saying that the NEPA TwilightMoms were mentioned on KRZ this morning! How exciting. Did anyone hear it or know how it happened? Comment and let us know.

Get Together

We had a great time at tonight's get together. Several members of our groups and some friends got together for dinner, drinks and to talk about The Time Traveler's Wife (we had a hard time staying on topic, we just have so much Twilight stuff to talk about lol and only see each other once a month) Then we headed down to the movie theatre for the movie version. Overall I think most of us liked it and felt it was pretty well done. There was a lot of stuff from the book that was not in the movie, but that is to be expected.

After the movie Becky & I stuck around (for an hour lol) and watched the previews before Bandslam. I was sooo nervous that we were going to get in trouble. Get this - we were the only people in the theatre up until about 1 minute before the previews started when 2 others came in! That made me even more nervous :-) The preview looked great on the big screen, but I am still not really getting the whole Taylor/Jacob narrating thing. And because of how fast the end moves it was still hard to get a good look at the Volturi / Edward shots. But really it looks like the movie is going to be GREAT - November 20 cannot get here soon enough!

Fansite Friday

August Get Together

We are planning a get together for Sunday, August 16, probably late afternoon or early evening to go see The Time Traveler's Wife and then out for a book/movie discussion (and of course to eat!)

A New Victoria?!

Actress Rachelle Lefevre Will Be Replaced By Howard In The Role Of Victoria

Los Angeles – July 28, 2009 – Summit Entertainment announced today that Bryce Dallas Howard will take over the role of “Victoria” in the studio’s upcoming production of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE. Actress, Rachelle Lefevre, who portrayed the character in TWILIGHT as well as the upcoming release of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON, will not continue in the role due to scheduling conflicts with another commitment the actor has made. THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE will start filming in Vancouver this coming August.

THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE, the third film in the studio’s TWILIGHT film franchise based on Stephenie Meyer’s blockbuster book series, will be directed by David Slade from a screenplay written by Melissa Rosenberg. The film will be released theatrically in North America on Wednesday, June 30, 2010.

“We are incredibly happy that Bryce has agreed to come into the franchise,” said Erik Feig, Summit’s President of Worldwide Production and Acquisitions. “Rachelle brought “Victoria” to great screen life and Bryce will bring a new dimension to the character. The franchise is lucky to have such a talented actress as Bryce coming in to fill the role.”

Howard most recently starred in TERMINATOR SALVATION as Kate Connor and has been seen in SPIDER-MAN 3, LADY IN THE WATER, and THE VILLAGE. She was nominated for a Golden Globe for her leading performance as an actress in the HBO film AS YOU LIKE IT.

In THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life.

Harry Potter

A lot of the ladies in our NEPA TwilightMoms group are big Harry Potter fans. Hope you all enjoy(ed) the new movie. i am currently watching my son and nephew while my sisters, mom and daughter are at the movie.

A few of us were able to meet for lunch today. We had a great time talking about Twilight (of course) and all sorts of other things. We spent a lot of time talking about books, so after lunch we moved on to Barnes & Noble for a little book browsing.
