Fansite Friday

Today is the second in a series of Fansite Fridays. Several of the Twilight Fansites are releasing information about their New Moon set visits back in April.

Check out this interview with Wyck Godfrey on Twilight Source, it's very interesting. (I think this week all the sites are running the same interview.)

Peter Facinelli from Twilight's Dr. Cullen to Nurse Jackie's Dr Copper

iesb.com has a really great interview with Peter Facinelli. It's long, but if you are a fan it's worth every minute :-).

IESB: Does it help to have those other actors to go through this whole crazy process with?

Peter: Definitely. There's a definite comfort when you see the other actors. You feel like you're all in it together. It's a very family-oriented group. We go for dinners, and we like being with each other. I don't think there's one person who doesn't get along with the others, in the group, and it really has become a family. When you see the other person, even if it's for a non-Twilight event, there's a comfort level there. When you look across and see them, they make you smile. Some of my favorite scenes are when all of the Cullens are together. When I'm doing a scene and I look across and see that whole group of actors together, in one scene, it just makes me happy. It makes me feel like the whole gang is there and the whole family is together.

New Moon Trailer Sneak Peak

New Moon Theatrical Trailer

So now that we know the following: 1)The New Moon Theatrical Trailer will hit theatres this weekend before BandSlam AND 2) A short clip of the trailer will be released tomorrow (or Wednesday), let's talk about what and who will most likely be in the trailer.

I think we will see a brief clip of the b-day party, some Bella & Jacob, some wolf pack stuff, and something with the Volturi.

New Moon: Movie Companion

The New Moon:The Official Illustrates Movie Companion is scheduled to be released by Little Brown on October 6th. The book is sure to be full of color photos of the cast of New Moon.

Teen's Choice Awards

The Cullen Brothers are looking GOOD!

This interview by Entertainment Tonight was conducted after the show. I included it because I find it particularly funny the way they talk about Rob & his hair. I also don't think I have ever seen Kristen so.....(searching for a word).....likeable. (Sorry, I mean no offense by that comment).

Some News....

NEW MOON TRAILER

By now we all know that the new New Moon Theatrical Trailer will be shown before Summit's BandSlam which opens this weekend. BUT Summit has just announced that a 10 second preview will be released this Wednesday, August 12.

Check here on Wednesday - I will do my best to find it for you girls!!

UPDATE: According to HisGolden Eyes Summit will be releasing 14 seconds of the trailer tomorrow (Tuesday) morning.

TEEN'S CHOICE AWARDS

The Teen's Choice Awards were held last night and Twilight fared pretty well. There were quite a few Twilight stars in attendance, including Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, Jackson Rathbone, and Nikki Reed. The show will be aired tonight at 8:00 pm on Fox. I will be adding a post in a few minutes with some pictures from the Red Carpet and a video or two from after the awards.

ECLIPSE REHEARSALS / FILMING

By all accounts the cast of Eclipse have head (will be heading) back up to Vancouver today for rehearsals and to begin filming Eclipse. Many of the vampires have already spent time over the past few weeks in Vancouver for fight training. I am looking forward to hearing about Eclipse, it is probably my favorite of the Twilight Books. One of the scenes I am most excited to see is the tent scene which Taylor keeps talking about. I assume that means it must be well written in the script, which he surely must have read by now :-)

Fansite Friday

Be sure to visit these sites for their first reports from their New Moon set visit back in April. I have only made it through two of them so far. They are long, but worth every minute of it!!

Fansite Fridays

The various Twilight Fansites who visited the New Moon set in Vancouver will spend the next five Fridays bringing us their set reports. The sites include Twilight Lexicon, His Golden Eyes, Twilight Source, Twilighters Anonymous, Twilight Moms, Twilight Series Theories.

I will try to post as much of the coverage here as I can.

Eclipse

According to LaineyGossip.com the Eclipse cast members who are in Vancouver had dinner together last night. (Jackson/Jasper, Nikki/Rosalie, Ashley/Alice, Taylor/Jacob, Peter/Carlisle, Bryce/Victoria, Kellan/Emmet, Elizabeth/Esme and Xavier/Riley)

They are reportedly invloved in pre-filming workouts and fight training. AND (get this) according to Lainey Jackson is involved in some horseback riding lessons!! It took me a minute to figure that out, but I assume it's for flashbacks when he is telling his story to Bella. love it!!
