Robert Pattinson Interviews

Fandago has a new interview with Robert Pattinson. I have included some New Moon (Twilight Series) stuff, however you can read the whole interview here. Rob is really talking a lot about this dark, creepy Edward, nightmare stuff. I am getting pretty curious about how that's going to play out.

Fandango: You’re just getting started shooting New Moon. How are things going? Pattinson: The interesting thing about this one is that so much of my character is in Bella’s head. It’s based on a mixture of memories and nightmares. Bella thinks she is going mad. I get to do some really creepy stuff. In other words, Bella is really frightened of [her hallucinations]. It’s really, really different than Twilight. I think that a lot of people will be kind of scared by this one. I wanted to try and put that into Twilight but I couldn’t really find a way to make Edward scary.

Fandango: How is working with the new director, Chris Weitz?
Pattinson: He’s a great guy. He’s very, very talented, and articulate. I guess it must be kind of stressful for him to take this on. It’s got so much expectation. He just seems very calm about everything.
Fandango: You contributed a couple of songs to the Twilight soundtrack. Are you still pursuing music, and will you be doing more for New Moon?
Pattinson: I’m in talks to do a soundtrack for another movie, composing. I cannot say what it is yet, but I really, really, really want to do. I don’t think I’m going to have anything on New Moon, but never say never.
Moviefone also has an interview with our favorite vampire. I have included some stuff, you can find the rest here.
What has been your craziest fan experience?
There was one quite weird thing, I was in a Blockbuster the other day, and I hadn't realized it was the day the ['Twilight'] DVD was coming out, and there were these two -- no one recognized me in that place -- and there were these two 8-year-old girls who turned up with their parents. They were picking up their preordered DVDs, and they were just shaking and crying just because they got their DVD. I thought that was pretty incredible, I hadn't seen anything like that before ... I mean, I have when it's in person, when it's meeting me. But just to pick up a DVD, that was kind of crazy.

What was your take on the whole Jacob casting drama? When it was possible that Taylor Lautner wasn't going to get the part.
It was weird. When I came back, I hadn't seen him in ages, hadn't seen him since the summer and when I saw him, I saw him just before he got casted, and he put on like 100 pounds! I was like "Jesus Christ! If he doesn't get it, it's ridiculous." But what are you going to do? There was a video of him on set the other day doing all these kind of fight stunts. That kid is incredible; he is one of the most stunning athletes I've ever seen in my life. I don't know, I think it'll be interesting. I haven't seen any of his stuff yet, but everyone's going a little bit crazy over him.

How's the energy on 'New Moon' compared to 'Twilight,' because for 'Twilight' no one was sure if it was going to do well and now, obviously ...
Yeah, it's scary. It's a very, very different experience. Last time we were just kind of ... it was so easy to get the entire cast together. We'd all have dinner almost every day and be able to talk about it freely and stuff. Now it's quite difficult to even leave the hotel. And all these random little stories become someway, somehow newsworthy, so you have to be very secretive about everything. Even if you want to just clarify something in the script or something. It's just strange. It's just very different ... It's very strange when you're aware of being observed, I guess.

Peter Facinelli Interview

About.com has as interview with Dr Carlisle Cullen himself (Peter Facinelli). I have brought over some New Moon stuff, but you can watch/read the entire interview here. (Love that he mentions Carlisle stitching up Bella's arm, I kind let out a fangirl squeel over that)

Where are you so far?
Peter Facinelli: "Well, nothing's shot in order but we've shot the…let's see…the birthday scene. We've shot that. And we've the voting scene. I'm not going to tell you what we all voted, but read the book. What else did we shoot? I shot stitching up Bella which was a lovely little scene. I pretty much mostly almost finished. I have a couple other shots to do in May and then we're done."

Have they added more Cullen family scenes?
Peter Facinelli: "You know, it's hard because when you're doing stuff that's based on a book, if you add too much that's not in there the fans don't like it. I think we're… There's always going to be creative interpretations of stuff. But as far as adding stuff, there's so much in it already, it's hard to add. You have a 500 page book that you've got to squeeze down to two hours."

But everyone wanted more of you guys in it.
Peter Facinelli: "Yeah. They're going to have to wait for the third one. We're more in the third and fourth for sure. I saw, which was really funny, I saw Stephenie Meyer at Disneyland. We went to Disneyland – just randomly went to Disneyland with my family and we both were eating dinner at the [Blue] Bayou restaurant, you know, Pirates of the Caribbean. And it was so odd. She walked over and I was like, 'This is too coincidental.' But, I should have told her, 'You know, why did you take the Cullens out of the second book so much?' I did tell her, 'You know what? I'm a little upset I didn't get to go to Italy.' I said, 'Carlisle could have shown up in Italy.'"....."He knows those guys. He'd be like, 'Hey, you know, it's all cool. These are my kids.'"
And having Chris [Weitz] as the director this time?
Peter Facinelli: "Fantastic. You know, the second time around it's a little easier. You feel like you have like a little bit more money it feels like. The atmosphere is calmer. I think it's going to be good. It's kind of nice having different perspectives, you know, film to film. They just announced the third director too."

Here's a little something to make you laugh. I think it's hilarious, although the end is a little weird. Thanks to Twilight Guide for the find

Twilight Soundtrack

TwilightMOMS points out that after 24 weeks on the Billboard charts, The Twilight Soundtrack is still ranked in their Top 10 Albums!

It's just so darn good!!! (((Once again crosses fingers and prays to the Soundtrack Gods that the New Moon Soundtrack can live up to the high standard set with the Twilight Soundtrack)))

Vancouver Bound??

A quick look over my favorite Twilight sites last night reveals that the many of the folks who run these sites are en route to VANCOUVER! Apparently Summit has invited them to the set of New Moon. I am sure we are in for a lot of great coverage so stay tuned as I will do my best to compile everything here in one spot for everyone to enjoy :-)

Twilight Examiner: Stephenie Meyer a better story-teller than writer? Stephen King's claims tested with New Moon

Amanda Bell has been busy. This morning she also takes on the claims by Stephen King that Stephenie Meyer "can not write worth a darn". I know a few people (LOL) who would argue with that. Click on the link above to read the article.

Twilight Examiner: Robert Pattinson’s “dark” scene in New Moon a re-hash of a left-out Twilight scene?

Amanda Bell examines the dream sequences we have heard about from both Kristen and Rob in the ET coverage. They both talk about how dark and scary they are. In New Moon Bella's dreams, while haunting to her, are not really like that, they are her searching, lost, and alone. Click the link above to read Amanda's take on it.

New Moon on ET

New Moon filming in Italy

According to a report on TwilightMOMS, New Moon is scheduled to be filming in the town of Montepulciano from May 25 - 29.

I am glad that they won't be shooting there for too long. Although I am totally psyched about the Volturi and the Italy scenes I was worried that they might spend a bit too much time on those scenes (especially in light of the fabulous casting). And therefore take time away from other parts of the story.

Wolf Spotted at Vancouver Forest Set!

The following was reported on NewMoonMovie.org...

Wolf Spotted at Vancouver Forest Set!
April 23, 2009

Mandy was investigating the New Moon forest set, and guess what she spotted–a wolf! A security guard cautioned them not to walk in a certain direction, because–

So he says *excited* “I wouldn’t, they are bringing a WOLF down”

*inner squeeeeee* I appear calm but holy moly I was ANYTHING but calm…. a wolf?!?!?

MeMy and I exchanged glances - we’d hit the jackpot!!!

We waited and watched as two trainers brought down the most beautiful, large, wolf.

I am no animal expert so I don’t know what type of wolf it was but it was big, it was grey, with bits of white in it… it was stunning to see.

Check out the rest of the story over at Malicious Mandy.

The Wolf Pack Tatoo

NewMoonMovie.org gives us a closer look at the ink sported by the wolf pack in the New Moon movie. They also speculate it'll be used for marketing like the Cullen Crest. What do you think?

I can see the "appeal" of the wolf pack, but I'm a Cullen Girl through and through :-)

ECLIPSE News!!! fresh from Summit

DAVID SLADE TO DIRECT SUMMIT ENTERTAINMENT'S THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE

Los Angeles, CA April 22, 2009 — Summit Entertainment announced today that David Slade has been hired to direct THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE from a screenplay written by Melissa Rosenberg. THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE, the third film in the studio's TWILIGHT film franchise based on the Stephenie Meyer's blockbuster book series, will be released theatrically in North America on Wednesday, June 30, 2010. The announcement was made by Erik Feig, Summit's President of Production.

Meyer stated, "I am thrilled that David Slade will be directing ECLIPSE. He's a visionary filmmaker who has so much to offer this franchise. From the beginning, we've been blessed with wonderful directorial talent for the Twilight Saga, and I'm so happy that ECLIPSE will be carrying on with that tradition."

Feig said, "Stephenie Meyer's ECLIPSE is a muscular, rich, vivid book and we at Summit looked long and hard for a director who could do it justice. We believe we have found that talent in David Slade, a director who has been able to create complex, visually arresting worlds. We cannot wait to see the ECLIPSE he brings to life and brings to the fans eagerly awaiting its arrival in summer of 2010."

Filmmaker Slade came to prominence as a director for his work on 2006's engrossing film HARD CANDY starring Academy Award® Nominated actress Ellen Page as well as directing 2007's genre hit 30 DAYS OF NIGHT which opened to number one at the box office its first weekend of release.

In ECLIPSE, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life.

Slade is represented by William Morris Agency.

About the TWILIGHT film series

But neither can deny the attraction that pulls them together...even when Edward confides that he and his family are vampires.

The action-packed, modern day vampire love story and blockbuster success the first film in the series entitled TWILIGHT was released in theatres on November 21, 2008 grossing $69.6 million domestically during its first weekend. New ET Teaser

Happy Earth Day Twilighters - do a little something nice for Mother Earth today.

New Moon Movie and Twilight Movie

WolfPack-Yowsa!! (not much else to say LOL)

OK maybe there's a little something to say. USA Today released pictures of the actors (including the one above) with the following article...

Wanted: Birth and brawn
By
Susan Wloszczyna, USA TODAY

It took a couple of months and thousands of hopefuls to find a quartet that fits the
requirements for New Moon's wolf pack.

No. 1 on the list: Native American or First Nation ancestry, because their
characters belong to the Quileute tribe, based in La Push, Wash., both
in the book and in real life.

"They had to have papers that proved their heritage," says director Chris Weitz,
who was the one who insisted on hiring within the community. "And they had
to be in good physical shape."

The Twilight sequel is filming now, and between takes, the actors usually are
working out with barbells, doing push-ups or chowing down on steak, Weitz
says. "They went through wolf camp together, and they are in constant training.
It paid off as a bonding thing for them and helped them to get to know one
another. They drove each other to get more buff."

No amount of weightlifting, however, would allow them to act out the
wolf portion of their performances; the beasts are about the size of horses
and race around on all fours.

Instead, the transformations are computer-generated, although one part
of each wolf might seem familiar. "They all have the actor's eyes," Weitz says.
.........
Step aside, aloof vampires with all your undead issues. The wolf pack is ready
to howl. Unlike cold-blooded neck biters, these poster guys for animal magnetism
are hot. So hot that their temperature runs a steady 108 degrees, as anyone
who has read Stephenie Meyer's series of gothic romances knows.

That gives them a great excuse to doff their shirts on-screen and expose the
physiques they've been pumping up for playing werewolves in The Twilight Saga:
New Moon, the sequel to last year's supernatural sensation, due Nov. 20.

Four actors — Chaske Spencer, Alex Meraz, Kiowa Gordon and Bronson Pelletier,
all with Native American heritage — join Taylor Lautner, 17, who returns as a
hairier, scarier Jacob Black. The plotline finds Jacob growing closer to a distraught
Bella (Kristen Stewart) after her vampire beau, Edward, runs off.

Well this all sounds GREAT! Chris Weitz just keeps impressing me!!

Today's filming...

Lainey Gossip reported this earlier today..

As for what’s happening today on set: They’re shooting a scene around the
woods involving Edward and Bella. Edward has to go, then leaves, then seems to
be in anguish. Something about “taking his soul”. It’s the break up.

Lainey Gossip frequently reports on what the New Moon folks might be filming. We must take it with a grain of salt, but I report it here because many times what she says is backed up the following day by pictures and reports from those who in Vancouver who found the locations.

New Moon Music

Stephenie Meyer has expressed many times the importance of music to her and the writing process of the Twilight Saga. Hopefully you are all familiar with the playlists on her website (one for each book). If not be sure to check them out here. I have most of the songs on my iPod (thanks to Becky for lots of them) and love to listen to them! And, as a matter of fact, one of the songs on the Twilight Soundtrack came from her Twilight Playlist ("Tremble for My Beloved" by Collective Soul)

In my opinion the music, Soundtrack & Score, were one of the best parts of the Twilight movie. We have all talked, at one point or another, about songs we think would be great for the New Moon movie. So....let's make our own playlist for our blog. In the comments tell me the names of the songs you think would be perfect and also include which part of the movie/book you think they go with. I will make a playlist of some (or all) and put it here on the blog for everyone to enjoy.
I'll go first....
  • Hate Me - Blue October - break-up scene or aftermath
  • I Was Broken - Robert Pattinson - Near the end when they both become whole again, together. When the hole in Bella disappears.
  • I Will Follow You Into The Dark - Death Cab for Cutie - Not sure where it would go in the movie, but just listen to the words.... if heaven and hell decide that they both are satisfied....if there's no one beside you when you soul embarks, then I'll follow you into the dark.... Remember when Edward tells Bella that once she is gone, he won't live without her.
  • Rest in Pieces - Saliva - Anytime Bella thinks about Edward and starts to fall apart in the months after the breakup (maybe a little too upbeat for that though)
  • A whole bunch more from Stephenie's playlist
A note about the comments: You don't have to be a member of the NEPA TwilightMOMS to comment - any Twilight lover is welcome. In order to comment click on 'comment' under the post. You will have to log in, if you don't have a log-in it only takes a minute to get one through Google. Then you can comment your little heart out!

Another ET Teaser

Entertainment Tonight has released another teaser for their New Moon coverage. This one looks mostly the same, but has some different soundbites from Rob, Taylor & Kristen. The story will begin airing on Thursday night on ET.

Some Of My Favorite Things...

....well three actually Blue October, Edward Cullen & Midnight Sun!! So, on Sunday some of us met for lunch and we were discussing Midnight Sun. I found a few cool fanvids. They use scenes from Twilight, but are meant to show Edward's battle within. I've included one here.

This one was made by YouTube user Chamalla01. The song is Ugly Side (one of my favorite Blue October songs)

More on Filming Bella's Cliff Dive

Vancity Allie has some pictures of an outdoor pool which was used for filming today. She reports that Kristen, Rachelle, Taylor and Rob were all filming there yesterday. Check it out here.

It was reported by a few sites that Taylor came out to sign autographs and take pictures with fans.

His Golden Eyes also has pictures posted from the pool set. I think it's really cool to see the green screens and special effects set up.

Some Scoop on Today's Filming

Many, many photos have surfaced of cast members in Vancouver over the weekend. Rob, Kristen, Nikki & Taylor were all out and about on Saturday night and/or Sunday. So we know some of the vampires are still filming (well, at least one).

This morning Lainey at LaineyGossip reports.....
My sources tell me exclusively he, Kristen, and Taylor are all back at work
today shooting in the water. She goes under, sees his face, then gets yanked
out.

Well that's enough to brighten my rainy Monday. It sound like they just may be filming part of the cliff-diving scene!!!! Every bit of news like this makes November seem so far away LOL.

Check Out This Cool Picture!

Thanks to His Golden Eyes for finding this new scan from the German magazine Bravo! I Love this picture. I wonder how the actual movie poster will be able to compete with all the amazing fan-made (or media-made) ones.

Video of Cast in Birthday Party Outfits on Set of New Moon

NewMoonMovie.org reports that The New Moon cast recorded this special greeting for Italian New Moon fans.

SO it looks like they were filming the birthday party here, as earlier reports from fans around Vancouver had indicated. What are your thoughts on how they all look. I'm having a little trouble seeing them since it's a video someone made of their tv. But I think they look really good (notice Jasper and Esme are kind of hidden, though). From the description/comments on the YouTube video it seems like they made this for the Italian fans possibly for some sort of gathering or convention in Volterra. Not really sure. It's not very 'professionally done' just sort of put together. Well, whatever the reason or circumstance at least we get to see them!!

UPDATE Pattinson Online has the following, which gives more of an explanation..

NewMoonVolterra.com made a special request to Summit Entertainment for a video message in expectation of the arrival of the New Moon cast and crew in Volterra, Italy in the coming weeks. They got their wish (see a rough translation below) and the following video, only allowed to be shown in Volterra, is the gift they received.
Oh yes, this time the Summit Entertainment has given us a beautiful gift.
Days ago we requested a greeting or message of the cast to the city of Volterra and the participants in the national meeting of the Twilighters of 18/19 April.
The idea was greeted with enthusiasm and 16 April (at 4 am …) in Vancouver … the Cullen family … is presented in front of the cameras to greet Volterra and fan assembly. The movie we’ve seen is very short but so funny (with which Cullen led by Kristen Stewart trying to deal with the Italian language) and is one of the first
official shots from within the … set of The Twilight Saga: NEW MOON.

Peter & Kellan Reading New Moon

The Twilight Lexicon reports the following:
Peter and Kellan, who both read New Moon awhile ago, decided to have a little fun with the paparazzi in LAX. Good to know that they are able to keep up a sense of humor about all the attention.

The cast really seems to have a GREAT sense of humor. And this picture is a riot! If this is a recent pic then it looks like Peter must have been wearing a wig as Carlisle or he really is done filming and dyed his hair back. (I'm not sure when the picture was taken) eta: OK I think this was taken on their way to Vancouver

Vancity Allie meets the Cast of New Moon After a Long Night of Filming

Vancity Allie and friends have been visiting New Moon set for a while. On Friday night they waited patiently while the cast filmed all night and were rewarded well! In the morning as the cast departed they stopped by to say hello.

Check out these pics of the cast in costume after shooting over night on Friday/Saturday. They were on location at the "Cullen House". It's hard to tell much from the pics, I'm sure they all look different under the lights when they are filming.

Edward & Alice (Rob & Ashley) stopped and waved to the girls. Alice (Ashley) looks really pretty here. Softer than Twilight Alice :-) LOL

Bella & Rosalie (Kristen & Nikki) both greeted the fans and took pics with them. They had their costumes covered by coats/robes. Not that you can tell much due to the hood, but I think the wig is looking pretty good on Nikki.

Jasper seems to have gotten a make-over. I am really not sure what to say about the new look. I think I will hold off on that until we see some clips or more pics.

Carlisle (Peter) was riding with Kristen & Nikki. Again waiting to see more of Carlisle before I make any judgements

Check out the full story and more pics here.

Entertainment Tonight Clip

Entertainment Tonight is counting down the days until they begin to show their New Moon set visit and interviews with Taylor (Jacob), Kristen (Bella) and Rob (Edward). Today at midnight they released an extended preview which includes some short clips of the interviews. (eta: The video from ETOnline was once again not working well so here's one someone uploaded to YouTube. It's definitely better to watch in HQ.)

After watching this I am wondering when the interview was conducted. I think it was within the past week or so, but Rob doesn't look very Edwardish. (how do you like that word?) I am loving the clips of them filming, lots of little Jacob snippets.

The Twilight Examiner Examines the Cast

Amanda Bell sinks her teeth into the New Moon Casting information that came out on Wednesday.

....we discussed (here) who we thought should be put into these roles, and the results have varied, most Twilight fans are pleased with the choices, it seems. A few have said that they think perhaps some of the casting was good, but that the role selection was off (for instance, by stating that Jamie Campbell-Bower would have made a nice Alec).

One thing we can know is that there is a mix, here, in the rationale behind the selections...
It's a really good article and worth taking the time to read, here.

New Moon Cast Yearbook

Thanks to TwilightMOMS for pointing us to this one! A moderator at NewMoonMovie.org put together a cast "year book" for New Moon. This is fabulous!! To view it larger, click on the yearbook.

New Moon Trailer: Top 5 Fanmade Trailers

Thanks to TwilightMOMS for the heads-up on this.

While we wait patiently for the New Moon Trailer (rumor had it the first one would be out in May, I am not holding my breath for that) ReelzChannel put together the 'best of the fanmade trailers'.

I can't wait to sit down and really watch these. Some of the fan vids are really great, I never cease to be amazed by them. (I have seen the first one and am a big fan of Tiffanyd.)

Check them out here - which is your favorite??

OME - Holy New Moon!!!

Check it out at about :10 they show brand new NEW MOON footage!!! It looks like Jacob is jumping off his front porch and running (somewhere) perhaps getting ready to phase!

eta: I had the video embedded from ETOnline, however it wasn't playing right so for now until I can work that out, here's one that was posted on YouTube.

Will the New Moon movie be closer the the books than the Twilight movie? Is that OK with you?

The internet has been buzzing about things in the New Moon movie being different from the Twilight movie, to keep it closer to the books. Chris Weitz has said that he will do his best to keep the New Moon movie as close to the book as possible. Stepenie Meyer has been in Vancouver and hopefully very involved in filming and production. All of these things make it seem like maybe, just maybe things are going to be a little different this time around.

Here are a few of the changes that have made news......
  • Jacob's friends who appeared in the Twilight movie (at LaPush) have been re-cast for the New Moon movie.
  • Rumors are swirling that Edward's Volvo in NM will be coser to, or the same, as the one in the books and not the same one they used in the Twilght movie.
  • The Cullens' hair and make-up have been 'tweaked'.
  • Some of the photos of Angela look like she has gotten a mini-makeover
  • I'm sure there are many more...
I have to say that I am behind these things 100% if they bring it closer to the books. I loved the Twilight movie, but would be the first to tell you that a lot of things could have (should have) been done 'differently'. Here are some of my issues...
  • Edward and Bella should have said "I love you"
  • We should have seen more of the relationship building between Edward & Bella & more of the depth of their feelings for each other
  • The Cullens should have been a bit more important (for lack of a better word) ... Carlisle's history, the study, Jasper's power.
  • Why did some of the little things have to be different? In Port Angeles...Bella's blue blouse, Edward's jacket, the private booth, the HOT waitress hitting on Edward - At School... Mr Molina instead of Mr Banner, the field trip instead of blood typing, many other things AND most importantly why why why did the Meadow scene have to be done in a moment of anger?? Edward thought long and hard about taking Bella there and 'revealing' himself to her, he didn't do it in a fit of rage and he didn't ring bells everytime he sparkled :-)
Ok maybe I am getting away from my orginal point here. I personally think that the issue of continuity in the movies is not as important as sticking to the books. As a matter of fact, I am willing to overlook it completely if it (say it with me) sticks to the books.

What do you think about things being different in the second movie than they were in the first movie? And what would you like to see done differently in the NM movie?

Amanda Bell talks about why she thinks Breaking Dawn should be made into a movie. Check out the article - What do you think? I absolutely think it should and I would address the length issue by leaving a little Jacob out. :-) Not that I don't like Taylor but there was just a little too much Jacob for my taste.

Calisle & Esme arrive in Vancouver

Carlisle (Peter) and Esme (Elizabeth) have arrived in Vancouver for filming. And Alice (Ashley) and Emmett (Kellan) have been seen in town as well. It seems they will be filming the party scenes tomorrow - YAY! Hope they don't forget about the big family meeting & vote on Bella's future, while the Cullens are in town!!

More pictures and the article are available here on Lainey.com. Lainey expects to have more pics to post later....

Amanda Bell (Twilight Examiner) has a new article on what the set pics reveal about the movie, here.

EW.com has an article on the casting of Michael Sheen as Aro. Here. Seems some who weren't fans of the first movie may be coming over to New Moon to see him??

Boxwish talks about New Moon's fashions, here.

Deadbolt.com tackles the popularity of Twilight

Deadbolt.com gives their take on the popularity of the Twilight and NewMoon movies.

Do you agree with their reasons?? I find it hard to put my finger on exactly what makes me so crazy for the books. As far as the movies, I think the books are the reason I love Twilight and look forward to New Moon.

Get Together

We have made tentative plans to get together on Sunday (4/19) to have lunch/snacks and see Adentureland, Kristen Stewart's new movie.

The theaters have not published times for next Sunday, yet.

Twilight Scene It Game (Thanks Becky)

As Becky mentioned earlier today a Twilight Scene It Game is available for pre-order BUT it won't be available until October. Well, at least we'll get to play it before we see New Moon :-)

Check it out here on TwilightMOMS.

In my opinion it would be best if it was based on the 4 Books, but it sounds like it's going to be on the Twilight Movie with some New Moon stuff mixed in.

Aro!

MailOnline has announced that Michael Sheen will be Aro, Volturi leader. See the article here.

What do you think? He is unfamiliar to me, but I am going to check around the web to see what I can find out :-)

Twilight Examiner: Since Rob Pattinson didnt say 'I love you' in Twilight, will he say 'Will you marry me' in New Moon?

Check out this article by Amand Bell on the Examiner.com. What do you think about them not saying I love you in Twilight, and whether or not he proposes in New Moon?

Bella & Edward Set Pics

Check out some more set pics here of Kristen and Rob filiming as Bella & Edward.

A few things I want to say...First and most importantly they look great (hair, make-up, etc). Second it looks like Bella is taking pictures in some of these shots so I am assuming these are from the beginning of the book, with her new camera, Yay. Finally, I am going to be a little bit nitpicky here, I can't imagine Bella wearing a short sweater and exposing her stomach like that ....what do you think??

TwilightMOMS on E!

How exciting?! TwilightMOMS is featured in a Twilight / Rob story on E!News. Here is a video clip. Read the story on TwilightMOMS.

Jackson (Jasper) on Criminal Minds

I'm watching now and so far he's really good! Talk about a far cry from Jasper. Hopefully there'll be some pics or videos around and I'll post them later.

Did you watch? What did you think?

eta: Wow Jackson can really act! He was great! Not that he wasn't good as Jasper, but I think we all know he didn't really get much of a chance to stretch his acting abilities in Twilight. Now the beginning of New Moon, could be a different story.

E! Video of Rob's Dossier Photoshoot

They call it Rob Pattinson's Rebellious Shoot. Love it - which one's your favorite? I'm lovin' the ones of him in the leather jacket, big time! (btw I am totally anti-smoking, BUT Rob smoking a cigarette is totally HOT!)

Set pics....

TwiCrack Addict has some pictures from the New Moon set. They were filiming at Forks High (wait until you see how sunny it was, hope they were shooting indoors) There are pics of Stephenie, Alice, Mike, Jessica, Angela, Eric and a bunch of extras. Check them out here.

Seeing the pics makes me so much more excited for the movie!

New Moon Movie Poster Contest

I love some of the posters that were submitted to this contest, some others were not quite as good:-). They had something like 700 submitted - WOW!! Check out the finalists and vote for your favorite. Tell us your favorites here, too, in the comments below!

Vote for your favorite fan made New Moon movie poster.

Stephenie in Vancouver

According to Twilight Lexicon, The Vancouver Sun is reporting that Stephenie Meyer is in Vancouver and on-set at "Forks High".

I am really glad she is there and involved. Do you think the NewMoon movie will keep closer to the book than Twilight did? Maybe you think Twilight was close enough to the book....share your thoughts in the comments.

Shooting the Movie Theater Scenes

Some Vancouver Twilight fans found Taylor as Jacob and the New Moon crew filming at a movie theater. Check out the blog and pics here at Vancity Allie.

How exciting! I know Becky is really looking forward to the Mike/Bella/Jacob movie scenes, how about everyone else? What do you think about Taylor in full Jacob mode? I think he looks great!

Also....HisGoldenEyes.com have scans from a Japanese magazine featuring Twilight (some extremely good pics of Rob, Kristen & Taylor) here. This one is my favorite.

Welcome NEPA TwilightMoms

Since there is so much happening in the world of The Twilight Saga, I thought I'd set up this Blog for us to keep track of things and share our opinions/feelings.

Right now everything here is "Private" so you have to be approved to follow and/or post on the blog. Maybe we'll change that eventually and open it up to others, maybe not. Let's see how it goes. (OK, I already changed that setting since you couldn't even view the blog unless you requested permission, we'll try letting it be semi-public and see what happens)

The Live feed from TwilightMoms News Blog is located on the right side of this blog so you can always check out the newest information there!

Feel free to use the comments!
