MTV Movie Awards

Hope you were able to watch the MTV Movie Awards. The show was a bit weird, but Twilight kicked some major butt!!

There's soooo much to see....videos, pictures, interviews. I was ready to post a lot of videos from YouTube but it seems that they are being slowly taken down due to copyright issues. AND the videos over at MTV.com make you watch a lot of really annoying commercials and seem to have some technical difficulties. For now I will list the awards that Twilight won and see what I can do about the rest. UPDATE: Here's a link to a playlist of some of the videos on YouTube

Best Fight went to Rob and Cam for the Ballet Studio Fight. Rob was gracious in thanking his stunt double who he claims really did all the work. (In an interview (after he received the award) he says it's the first fight he's ever won!)

Rob won Breakout Male Performance. LOL he had a 'little list' and a little something coming out of his pants :-) You'll have to see the video to understand that.

Rob and Kristen won Best Kiss. Their 'acceptance' of the award was GREAT!!! For this I have included the video!

MTV Shows

Before the real New Moon trailer, they revealed a little spoof... Then the big reveal came!!! It was presented by Rob, Kristen & Taylor. Rob dedicated it to all the fans! (See post below this for a High Quality video of the trailer, also available in HD by clicking on the HD button)

Kristen won Best Female Performance and had a slightly embarrassing moment during her acceptance when she dropped the award.

ET reveals 15 seconds of the first New Moon Trailer to be shown on the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night!!

Hmmmm is he wearing the same shirt he had on in the pics from the 'Reunion in Italy' scenes they were filming this week....coincidence?? I wonder if he will leave right after the party? They wouldn't leave out the break-up in the woods, right? (eta: I am pretty sure that when she said that to him in the book it was in her room the night of the party as she was getting ready to go to sleep.)

MTV Movie Awards...Best Movie

Voting has officially closed in most categories for the MTV Movie Awards which will be broadcast this Sunday night!! HOWEVER you can still vote for Best Movie. Twilight is up against Dark Knight, High School Musical 3, Iron Man & Slumdog Millionaire.

Edward Cullen ... A Catholic Bishop???

I hope you will get as big a laugh from this as I did. Note: I mean no offense to the Bishop or Catholic Church, it's just.... well you'll see what I mean.

New bishop for RC Diocese of Allentown

Monsignor John O. Barres, 48, will succeed Bishop Edward Cullen in the Diocese of Allentown. The bishop-elect will be ordained and installed July 30.

=Maybe some of you already knew that there was a Bishop by the name of Edward Cullen, but when I heard this on the news I found it very amusing!!

Twilight Soundtrack Goes Double Platinum!

.....RIAA has announced its Gold and Platinum certifications for the month of April and The Twilight Soundtrack was among them. Twilight was certified double-Platinum, selling over two million copies at this point......

Yay!!! I love the Twilight Soundtrack so much, it makes me happy to see it doing so well. It is currently #13 on iTunes Top Albums and #19 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums. It has been on the Billboard Charts for 29 weeks!

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will present the trailer live on Sunday at 9 p.m. ET.

Last week, we dropped a bombshell of OME proportions when we announced that the cast of "New Moon" will be presenting exclusive footage from their upcoming "Twilight" sequel during the MTV Movie Awards. Now we can reveal that the never-before-seen video that Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will be introducing on Sunday's live show is the movie's first trailer.

The stars will present the premiere of the "New Moon" trailer on the Movie Awards, airing at 9:00 pm ET on Sunday. Then at 10:45 p.m., the high-definition video will debut online. To make sure you don't miss the big premiere, you can snag our Movie Awards countdown clock right here!

This year, "Twilight" leads all other films at the Movie Awards with seven nominations, including nods for Breakthrough Performance Male nods for Pattinson and Lautner, and Best Performance Female for Stewart. Cam Gigandet, who plays evil vampire James in the movie, has been campaigning heavily (with the help of FunnyOrDie.com) to win Best Fight for his battle with Pattinson. Voting in the Best Movie category, for which "Twilight" is also nominated, will stay open until the end of the live telecast.

Joining the "Twilight" trio will be an all-star group of Hollywood presenters, including Denzel Washington, Will Ferrell, Lil Wayne, Cameron Diaz, Sandra Bullock, Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Abigail Breslin, Shia LaBeouf, Leighton Meester, Jonah Hill, Danny McBride, Sienna Miller and Channing Tatum.

In addition to this cavalcade of celebrity presenters, the Movie Awards will feature musical performances by Eminem, who will perform music from his new album, Relapse, and Kings of Leon, who will perform their hit "Use Somebody."

Will the vampires grab more trophies than the slumdog? What was the year's ultimate onscreen WTF moment? It's up to you to decide the winners of the 2009 MTV Movie Awards. Vote now, and tune in on Sunday at 9 p.m. ET, when the big show airs live from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California.

WOW!!! There's just not much else to say. Ok well that's not true there is a lot that could be said, but I can't stop staring long enough......

I am assuming the little dots you see on Rob's exposed skin are for the 'sparkle'. The must be doing some sort of computer aided sparkle LOL.

There are a LOT more pics I will try to bring over!!! Hmmm, notice the difference in Kristen's hair. Some shots its her hair (straight) and others looks a little more Bella-ish. Also in some of the pics I am working on now you can see Bella crashing into / jumping onto Edward - I Love that shot - from another angle you can see someone behind pushing on Rob's back so he won't fall over :-) Love it!!!

More Set Pics (Really Cool Ones!)

More pics from Montepulciano. These are a little different and pretty cool! I am assuming that Rob is wearing the 'white shirt' from the scene in the square. Maybe, just maybe he will be losing the shirt for the scenes as written in the book :-) I know it's kind of hard to tell, but to me it looks like Kristen might look a little too good for New Moon Bella. In this part I think she'd be a real mess. Not only had she almost drowned a few days ago, but she ran out the door in record time and flew all the way from Washington State to Italy. Drove through the countryside at a bazillion miles per hour, all the while fearing that she wouldn't be in time to save her True Love!! (Just in case I didn't say it yet today - I can't wait to see this all played out on the big screen)

According to his Twitter, Charlie Bewley has finished his part. Pretty much you can logically infer that if he’s done so is Daniel Cudmore, and quite possibly Dakota Fanning.

On today’s agenda is the Bella dashes across the plaza with 1,500 extras in red cloaks scene. Given the temperatures (over 90 degrees yesterday) we hope they have plenty of water on hand, because those folks in the cloaks are going to be dropping like flies otherwise. Of course, since the weather never cooperates, it was uncharacteristically cloudy this morning.

There are masses of people who have flocked to Montepulciano from all over the world. Barricades are up for the crowds to stand behind. Yesterday the crowds could see the walk through and rehearsal in the main piazza, but today all has been blocked off.

Here's a close-up of the statue. Kinda creepy, but I like it!

If I were to make a photo assumption about this one, I'd bet it's rehearsal and that those people will be carrying the statue through the square for the Festival / Celebration of St Marcus. Notice the water from the fountain in the foreground. I love how it all seems to be coming together!

Charlie Bewley and Daniel Cudmore (Felix and Demtri) dined together. Reports say that they enjoyed their meals peacefully however when they tried to leave they were mobbed by fans.

A Few Days Late

Entertainment Weekly revealed these new stills from New Moon! They look fabulous, what do you think?

OK, what can I say about this one...HOT! I like how Edward's skin is lighter than Bella's. In Twilight I often noticed that her skin was made up to be just as light as or even lighter than his. As we all know, he should be whiter! Any speculation as to which scene this is from?

I am really liking this one. The scene with Laurent in the Meadow should be really scary. I think Bella looks 'right' here. Not overly done up with make-up.

CAN NOT wait for this scene! From what we can see of the Cullen's house here, I think it looks really good. The colors are right, love the art in the background. And look at all the glass and roses. I am really anxious to see how this scene plays out. If done well, it should be awesome! Reports from a while back, when they were filming this, said that Jackson killed it as "Blood Thirsty Jasper". After seeing him on Criminal Minds I bet he'll be great!
